Mike Lamport, Heritage Advisor and Railway 200 Steering Group member, will be showcasing some of the hundreds of events and activities that took place nationwide, and worldwide, during the 18 months of celebrations marking the bicentenary of the modern railway which began with the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway in September 1825.
- The pictures feature both Inspiration our nationwide travelling exhibition train and a typical event held at station celebrating its birthday during the year. This and much more of which you will see on the night.
