Welcome to the Marlow & District Railway Society
Founded in 1977, we are a group of railway enthusiasts based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and with members from as far afield as the USA.
Our activities include regular monthly meetings at the Bourne End Community Centre
We also publish our own illustrated magazine The Marlow Donkey. Meetings are open to non-members, but why not join us?

Following
Col. Don Woodworth's
excellent presentation from his home in Illinois, USA in May 2025 we welcome him back this month to show some
"Scenic Highlights of the USA".
The United States is a huge country that literally takes a life time for a gricer to cover at least all of the more notable railway photographic locations. Our chairman's long-time friend Col. Don Woodworth, USAF (Retired), now in his early 80s, has used up a fair amount of his life in trying to do just that!! With 8 years of his life spent gricing in the UK instead of covering additional far-flung points in the US, he is in a unique position to contrast scenic highlights of his own country with those of the UK and will be sharing appropriate photos from across the United States during his presentation.

This will be a Hybrid meeting, with the actual meeting being held at Bourne end Community Centre. Don Woodworth will be transmitting from his home in Illinois.
