Our activities include regular monthly meetings at the Bourne End Community Centre We also publish our own illustrated magazine The Marlow Donkey. Meetings are open to non-members, but why not join us? Click here to open the application form.

Our next public meeting will be on Thursday 19th March 2026 at 7:30pm. when, Christopher Jones will talk on "The Central Wales Line Part 1 Shrewsbury to Llandovery.".
In the 1840's two new railway companies The LNWR of 1846 and The MR of 1844 were both engaged in a race to get to the riches of South Wales principally the town of Swansea. The LNWR turned out to be the more successful of the two and obtained the freight traffic from the other, post grouping. We will travel "Over the hills and far away" on the track of The LNWR towards Swansea
